John Roberts / Cars arrived today. Thanks ! I have not looked at them yet. I always open any boxes I get with my mid evening coffee which is brewing now. I just love days like this. A box with 2 JR cars and a excellent cup of coffee. Well excuse me while I sip and open ! Take Care, RANDY B.

John K. / Pictures

John I was thinking the other day I should post some pictures of some of my Hudsons but I was standing behind the door when everyone was talking about how to post pictures on this site. So if someone could explain how to post pictures on this site in easy to follow steps I will give it a try. Thanks for your intrest, RANDY B.

Read "Help?" above...

Then scroll to the bottom of the page for "Click Here". Photobucket is probably the easiest site to use for your pictures.

Here's what I did, Randy

After I downloaded my pictures into a folder on my computer.....

1. I went to snapfish.com (photobucket.com is another good one)and created a free account.

2. Using the 'upload' feature on Snapfish, I uploaded my pictures to a new album (you can rename the album whatever you like or load to an album you've used before).

3. Now comes the hard part. I open Forum 43 in another tab on my browser. leaving the Snapfish page open as well.

4. I copied the IMG SRC="url" (brackets appear around this statement) script from the "How Can I Add A Photo To My Post..." article on the help page of this this website.

5. I then paste this into my posting on the forum.

6. Then I return to my Snapfish account and open my new album, the one with my car pictures.

7. I click on the image I want.

8. When the image appears, in full size, I right click on that image,

9. then scroll down to 'properties' and click on that.

10. When that box appears, copy the code for the 'Address/URL' (make sure you get it all, there is usually a lot).

11. Go back to your forum posting, highlight the URL between the quotation marks and paste your copied code in its' place, remembering to leave the quotation marks.

This is actually a lot easier than it looks and, once you do one.....you'll want to do more! How tough can it be? I can do it

John K.

I will give this a try in the next day or two. I am working on a landscape project and laying sod today. Playing in the dirt if you will. AAHHH winter in Southeren California you can work in the yard all year long. I have not decided yet if this is good or bad HA HA ! Thank You very much for taking the time to outline this procedure. Hopefully I can reward you with a few pictures of some of my Hudsons and maybe a couple others. Take Care, RANDY B.

Now I'm upset!

I'm in Virginia and it's not only REALLY cold but the wind is blowing! Enjoy the sunshine!

Photobucket is much more user-friendly now.

Sign up for a free Photobucket. Then go to Album, scroll down to Browse and then click on picture listed in your My Pictures or Desktop, and then click on Open. When picture info comes up (it will be immediate), click on Download. Depending on the size of the picture it will load in 10-60 seconds. Then, when you see the picture below scroll to the third line down (HTML code) and click on it. It will automatically be copied. Then open a post on the forum and in the box paste the HTML. When you preview the message, the picture will appear.

WOW! you're right, Dick.

I'm moving over to Photobucket. I copied this picture below and it was much easier. No car but I needed a subject and this was all I had on Photobucket. Thanks!

Hopefully we all learn from each other. Alex taught me how to do links.
