Google translation for Fred:

As a collector of 1/43 scale Ford model cars, I was thrilled to find President Franklin Roosevelt's Lincoln Continental Sunshine Special. As far as I know, the actual K-series model was produced in 1939. It was extensively modified by Brunn & Co. Inc. of Buffalo. Roosevelt used this car during his historic visits to Casablanca in 1942, Tehran in 1943, and Yalta in 1945. In 1950, the Ford Museum acquired it, and I believe this magnificent car is now on display there.
This 1/43 scale Lincoln Continental Sunshine Special was produced by Norev for the Atlas Voiture de Chefs d'Etat series. The model is very well designed, but the quality is quite poor. A chemical reaction has started between the tires and the rims, and I think I'll have to find new wheels. The paint and chrome details also have some issues. The interior details are very basic—the seats and recline controls are almost shiny, and the dashboard and doors are devoid of painted small parts and decals. The front and rear fenders are plastic, only the upper body is cast metal.
The packaging is very good—an acrylic display case and a photo of the "Big Three" inside. The model comes with a certificate.
I think Norev could have done a much better job with this Lincoln, but they chose not to. The most I can do is replace the wheels, paint the interior, polish the chrome, and add a few more small details. In any case, the model fills a very important gap in the Lincoln collection.

I should to pay attention on some technical problems with my phone. Initially I write all my posts in English but a system translates them.

Hope I'll be able to decide this problem and to consult with admin. I made some changings and think that this post will be in English.

If anybody has Lincoln Sunshine by PCT or have photos of the real car from Ford Museum would be nice to see them.

Fine images of this model of the impressive Lincoln automobile ! The tire reaction that is damaging the wheels has been occasionally noted on other model cars, too, and can be a frustrating problem. It is a cool model, so hopefully a solution to the tire issues can be found.

Norevs are usually at a good price point so I can understand the lack of interior detail, but the wheel-tire problem should not happen.  I have never seen this on a Norev before...

I never knew there was a 1/43 of the "Sunshine Special;"  I've only seen the 1/24 release.

@chris Absolutely magnificent model! Very sad that 1/43 manufacturers haven't modelled it in a so excellent level.
