Here is a Trax item I did not know existed until I accidentally ran across it on Ebay from a US seller at a price far better than current Trax items with high Australian shipping and now likely tariffs.   A very nicely done resin item in cream and RHD for the Australian market but otherwise a virtual clone of the US 1:1 1946-48 edition.  Shown here with the same era Mercury Sportsman by Brooklin.

It's an old model by Trax offered in black too. At first sight it seem that wheels are a bit little.

I like it but have never seen it....  I agree that the tires look a bit small.   Congrats John!

The sedan looks nice to me as does the tire size. I had never seen this model before but do have the Brooklin which my late friend detailed for me.

Yes,  tires a bit small especially when shown with the Brooklin with its very wide white walls.

Very nice model. Tires may be a fraction too small, but not serious. Brooklin tires may be a little too "balloon-like". Somewhere in between would be about right.

I don't think it is an "old" Trax. It is one of their "Select" resin series which they started doing relatively recently, maybe 3 or 4 years ago.

@renato-bardi    ...thanks!   Yeah, I missed that one, never saw it until today; those tires are definitely a bit small.   It's a great looking model though.
