Dear friends,

The 1967 Pontiac Bonneville from Goldvarg Collection have just arrived.

In two stunning color choices:

GC-059 A in Tyrol Blue

GC-059 B in Champagne Irid

Best regards!

These do look really good, sans the vinyl top trim on the blue hardtop.   Sergio could've reduced some production costs by NOT including wipers.  They're GREAT to see in this scale but the idea behind GM's "upsweep"  hoods of the 1960's was to hide wipers - which they did nicely.   Of course, not a "deal breaker,"  just unnecessary.

The wheels and body proportions look amazing!

No doubt these will sell out. 🙂

Very nice models!  Hope to see a 2drht. Catalina and/or a Grand Prix sometime in the future.

A '67 GP would be a most welcome and probably sold out instantly model.

The one year only Grand Prix convertible would be terrific. Eight lug wheels would make it even better.

@bob-jackman, I agree totally! Give me mine in this color combo with a white interior and a 4 speed!

As much as I love 1:1 convertibles & 2-dr hardtops, I'm VERY happy to see Sergio focus so much attention on scale "bread & butter cars"  like 4-dr sedans, 4-dr hardtops, and station wagons.   IMO, having only replicas of 2-doors & convertibles is pretty boring; I appreciate the variety.

Agree. Very handsome model. If I wanted to be really picky on small details (and Goldvarg models are good enough to invite close examination) the only slight let-down might be that the front quarterlight frames are rather thick, dull-looking and lacking in detail.

quarterlight

I thought it might have been because of the need not to make them too fragile, but I have a number of models (including Goldvargs) with much finer (and brighter) frames. A minor detail and obviously not a deal-breaker.

And yes, the one year only Grand Prix convertible with hidden headlights was a real looker to my eye. I quite fancied having a model of it, so I had to resort to converting a Dinky Pontiac Parisienne. New nose and tail plus a scratchbuilt interior because the Dinky vac-form seats and dash weren't good enough and inner door cards, armrests, etc. were needed.

For those of you not wishing to duplicate this painful process, I wish you a Goldvarg 1957 Grand Prix for next Xmas.

@jkuvakas I couldn't agree more JK.....the '67 GP is a beautiful car (love the grille/headlights in particular) and the one-year only convertible in the colors you mention would be a must-have for me.

The '67 Catalina 2&2 HT or convert would be an amazing model as well....

I don't like to be a nit-picker either but the blue one, sans vinyl top, shouldn't have the chrome molding at the base of the C-pillar (see Chris Moroni's photo above).

That's why I ordered the champagne one! 🍾

@moe-parr It's a minor detail but I'm getting the Champagne/white version too.
