The Stamp 1973 Cadillac Coupe De Ville has been seen here before. I held off a bit because I wasn't sure the top color was correct. It turns out that Cadillac offered a range of unobvious and complementary vinyl top colors. The Sage Green Metallic looks terrific and is typical of the mid to dark earth tones that were popular on US cars in the Nixon era. I purchased mine from Dave Gilbert at toycargeek.com
Also purchased from Dave is the 1955 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham Motorama concept car by Matrix. This model is also available in Black. While somewhat predictive of the Detroit-developed production 1957 and 1958 Eldorado Brougham, I think this concept seems to have been derived from the 1954 Cadillac Park Avenue concept (photo below). While lacking in small details, I like this model very much.
Lastly, I purchased the beautiful 1967 Buick Wildcat coupe by DeAgostini. I was impressed by the photos shown when introduced last year. However purchasing one slipped my mind. This one popped up in my eBay feed and was purchased from a vendor in Japan. I think it's well proportioned and nicely detailed. Unlike some other manufacturers, the curved side glass and trim was replicated and looks right. I'm a bug for proper tire/wheel/white wall proportion. This looks good to my eye also. I wasn't sure if the silver metallic said "1967" - but it shows off the contours and creases in the design nicely. Later, I might tone down the chrome exhaust and the four front grille inserts with black hobby paint.
These 3 are all great but that 1973 Cadillac Coupe de Ville is a REAL standout! That looks nice from any angle; Stamp nailed it. Nixon left office on August 9, 1974..."earthtones" lasted through Ford and well into the Carter area. By the time of Regan (January 1981) "earth tones" were out.

Thanks for looking!
Very nice models and also a BIG THANK YOU for posting large pictures so we don't need a magnifier to see the details.
