I need some help from forum members. I stumbled on this website, Hum3d that offers something I might be interested in.
https://hum3d.com/3d-models/studebaker-lark-sedan-1960/
I tried to contact them for more information. What scale? Are these complete models or some sort of computer program that allows special equipment to make the model, and more questions. Shows a price of $95 but a detailed interior at $1200 ?? They are non responsive to multiple emails sent via their website but they did put me on their email newsletter list but it answers none of my questions. Any knowledge from the forum brain trust would be appreciated.

John, I am CERTAINLY NO expert, but from my limited experience dealing with (...and trying to acquire ) 3-D models, these prices undoubtedly reflect the software cost(s). You need to have (or hire a firm with ) high quality 3-D printing capabilities.
Furthermore, you pay for what you get. Let's say you wanted a rather large 1/12 Studebaker w/interior & engine detail and you wanted this company to print & assemble it for you. I suspect they'd want well north of $7,500.00. 😯
Conversely, you could buy the software for a 1/43 version (no opening features ) for $90. Then buy a $1,700 3-D printer and make all you want. 😏
-OR-
You can wait for Stamp, GLM, IXO, Greenlight, Goldvarg or Hot Wheels to release one ......... 🙄 🙄
Maybe you can select any scale you want within the limits of your high-end 3D printer? All you need to get started is a decent printer (costing between $1000 and $5000 or thereabouts) and a fair bit of technical know-how (to put it mildly).
Be interesting to hear if anyone has further information. As you say, they don't offer much detail. I wonder what the quoted base price of £83 actually buys you, since the "print-ready" version costs an eye-watering £795 and the "detailed interior" version is £1060. If you don't pay for the separate "detailed interior" I suspect you maybe just get a solid one-piece 3D casting like the one below. Yours for only 4 or 5 times the cost of a Brooklin or Goldvarg.
Knowing your modelling capabilities it might be easier and cheaper for you to scratch-build your own!

You need a lot of post processing to buy something like this for $95 and transform it into a physical item. 3D printing is a time consuming hobby on its own....
I've seen some 3D printed models on EBAY, some as low as $10. They are printed as one solid piece including the windows, the grills, the lights etc. You can see samples of them here,

They offer you a choice of scales, the larger ones being more expensive. I'm curious how they designed their masters or their software.
These are examples where they sell you the software and you print? your own.
