I love the '49 Buick Roadmaster and to my eye the Sedanet is the best looking of the bunch, even more so than the Riviera hardtop. I have the Brooklin in a few different shades of grey. I didn't even know this color existed until I saw it on eBay. It suits it perfectly and I LOVE it! It's a "Miniature Cars USA" limited edition of 200.

Have this one and love it despite the old tech. Awesome color.
You love it, it looks great, it's a Buick replica ......what else is there other than congratulations !
Have had the grey for decades. My late friend scraped the model and made a real jewel out of it.
Talking about the Sedanet body style...I'd be all over this 1950 "Jetback"...anyone know if it's been made in 1/43? Stunning!

@moe-parr Buz did a Special in the Conquest brand about two years ago. The model was superb and sold out very quickly
@bob-jackman @nickies Thanks guys for the helpful information, I'll be on the lookout for one. Ivory or green, either one would do!

In my opinion, the windshield was fine on this model but the overall casting and grille was horrible. I had the original gun metal grey for many years and also did a chrome job.
If I remember, this was one of the early Brooklin models and all of them were inaccurate in so many ways. This was the 1/43 market of the time but we bought them. The Design Studio 1948 Buick Roadmaster Sedanette was so far better and of course the Motor City 1949 buick Riviera and Convertible.
in so many ways
@nickies You are absolutely correct Nickles. Your comments caused me to take another look at the sedanette and station wagon, both of which are true works of art. The works of art also came with a price tag that was at least three times that of the Brooklin.
@nickies. +1. The Brooklin's '49 Buick shortcomings are also reflective of the prices they fetch on Ebay. You can pick them up for under $50. In fact, one sold recently for $15.
To be fair, the Brooklin is over forty years old.

A good point, John.
The MOC and Design studio models weren't made yesterday.
