Lots of choices among these latest announcements from Matrix…
1950 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS Supergioiello Ghia Coupe
1937 Bugatti T57S Atlantic #57473 in grey blue, maroon, or black
1961 Jensen 541S
Mercedes Benz 300SD Turbodiesel W116 in green metallic, gold, and blue metallic
1967 BMW 1600-2 Baur Coupe in red or cream
(Continued)
Why we need another T57 Atlantic is a mystery to me. Been done by Rio, Minichamps, AutoArt, EMC, Western, and probably a few old white metal or resin kits. Matrix could be struggling, their QC is faltering (I received a model without a steering wheel - no help from Matrix on a spare) and the edition sizes are shrinking.
A nice variety of choices done by this proven manufacturer. My personal favorite of those shown is the Lotus Cortina MK.II, which I will definitely buy. I have the 1:43 Minichamps Lotus Cortina MK. I and a couple standard 2dr. MK. I color options but only have the Corgi brand Lotus MK. II in race trim, the gold Chapman version, plus one MK. II standard 2dr. This Matrix MK. II will complete the group.
@jack-dodds Jack, I too have the MiniChamps Cotina Mark I and was also thinking I might add the Mark II. I'm thinking the Gold one for something different.

Bob;
As I mentioned, I have the Corgi MK. II Lotus Cortina (Colin Chapman version) in gold and for the money it is very well done. I actually prefer it as it does not have the mirrors up front on the fenders; which as you know was not done on these cars in North America.
@jack-dodds Thanks for the tip Jack. I would prefer the car without the fender mirrors so I will seek out the Corgi version.
