Back in 2013, Brooklin came out with a recolored Rambler wagon in Gotham gray and sierra peach. It was a striking combo (nicer than the first release IMHO) but I wasn’t into buying models just because of a color change - even if it was a wagon. Well, by the time I came around to really wanting it, it became increasingly hard to find, which made me want it even more.
Skip ahead to about a month ago and I see one come up for sale. The asking price wasn’t out of line, but that shipping from England was painfully steep. The seller went through a couple Buy It Now cycles with no takers so I reached out to see if we could strike a mutually beneficial deal. He knocked $20 off the price and I snapped it up. One more holy grail checked off the list!

Nice one ! It is great to finally have a long-desired replica, especially one so attractive as this Rambler wagon.

Randy, that is great that you were able to go acquire the pearl of great price at a lower price! That Rambler in those colors is so ‘50’s. It’s a beautiful car. There is nothing quite like unboxing a Brooklin after a long search. Congratulations!
