When Neo got it right, they were at the top of their game, and models like this really show it.
I will also do a side by side comparison when I receive my red and white 1959 Kess version.

This is a wonderful model. I have the dark blue version, the red & white and the newer tan. The blue & red are excellent, however the tan suffers from the banana shape, although not as bad as some others.

Excellent photos, Ben Lampson! I also have the dark blue version, as well as a medium blue and white two-toned version, and the more recent Pearl Fawn version. I enjoy them all, but only the original black and dark blue versions have the bright, ribbed lower body side moldings of the 1960 Electra 225 (series 4800). Consequently, I think of the later versions as standard Electra (series 4700) cars.

I have the black version and think it's a wonderful model. Neo at the top of their game IMO.

That is the VHTF one....if you didn't get it new, you'll pay the pricey procrastinator tax for it!
