OK, the anticipation is for you, 'cause my 3-tone '56 Dodge has arrived and OMG! it's a beauty. For me, quite frequently I grow to anticipate a model too much-when it arrives-there is a degree of disappointment. Do you guys ever do that?
Anyway, that is not the case here at all. This is everything a model should be and more. I am totally and completely thrilled with this gem.
Oh by the way, I going out in a few minutes to snap a few photos for a prelim viewing... Stay tuned!
In the meantime, here's another '56 Dodge you might enjoy.
I've rarely been disappointed upon receiving a model (CTCS BRK 1961 Meteor is an exception), but I have been disappointed when seeing how an anticipated model turns out when it's released. There have been several I chose not to buy once I saw what they looked like; e.g., BRK 1960 Pontiac and Cadillac.
I don't mean to pick on Brooklin: in fact I have about 100 and I love them.
I've not seen the Meteor in person, only photos-I haven't had an interest in yet. I do like the Pontiac, it's not a favorite-but I've found it acceptable. As far as Brooklin's '60 Cadillac-I am a huge fan, I love it. It's not perfect, but I am very much enamored with it and have every one of them that were issued.
