Nice model. However, I think car would look better with less chrome on rear fenders.

Likewise. I think that slab of chrome is gross and I would get rid of it - but then it wouldn't be a Fleetwood Special any more!

Cadillac, Oldsmobile and Buick for 1958 were all victims of "excess for excess' sake". And yet, I still like most of them.
A favorite Cadillac style, I ordered one.

This is one car that looks better in 1:1 IMHO. Too much chrome you say? Hey...c'mon....it was 1958!
"....that slab of chrome...."
Oh no, the year is 1958 folks - that "slab of chrome" must be there! 😎 😎 😎
Yeah, OK, fair enough. It was a bit heavy-handed, though. Made the '58 Buick look almost delicately restrained by comparison.

p.s. My quick edit of Stamp's Fleetwood Sixty Special that I posted above produced something that (not surprisingly) looks rather similar to Stamp's earlier Coupe de Ville (in the same colours), which I already have. I personally find it rather prettier than the Fleetwood, and it's all I need as a representative of a '58 Cadillac.
But of course I appreciate that some folks are happy this new 4-door variant has been produced.

I already have it in elegant black.
@john-sharisky The notification I received was from Burbank House of Hobbies in California. These LEs seem to sell out fast.
@graeme-ogg I agree. I really like my coupe version. The Fleetwood is too pimped up for my tastes but we each have our preferences.
...Burbank House of Hobbies...
Figures. I purchase a fair amount of my model car building supplies from Burbanks's - but opt-out of receiving their "news and offers".
FYI: I approve of the 1958 Sixty Special design. Here's a photo of an Art Fitzpatrick giclee print I have at home (I had the framing and matting done). I understand this image was used in the 1958 GM Annual Report.
