I'm a sucker for these extremely limited editions. I'm not a big Caddy guy but these "1 of 70" releases have hooked me every time! I ordered one.

Magnificent...it's 1958 so chrome is king!

It is a beautiful automobile and certainly a true Cadillac. It is a strong design, like all of GM's 1958 offerings, so it would still look great even without the chrome trim.

I was tempted to buy but would prefer in a different color.  I like blue but I think another color choice could be more striking. If they offer another color, please don't think black.  I have always been a fan of the 1958 Cadillac Sixty Special design since I first experienced one at age eight in 1959.  Mom, recently divorced, moved us to San Francisco and she had a circle of girlfriends, all divorced, who met for lunch most Saturdays at each others homes.  Us kids would amuse ourselves while Mom's had three (or four) martini lunches. One of the ladies had a beautiful white w/black & white interior 1958 Cadillac Sixty Special and I loved all the chrome. Her home was across the bridge, on a hillside, and it started to slip downhill.  To this day I remember the rush of the ladies who lunched and their children to load up cars with clothing and little me dumped dresses into the backseat of Mom's Starfire convertible with the top down.  One of those childhood memories of that lady and her white 1958 Cadillac Sixty Special that I would like to have in a scale model.
