Hi, Steve - welcome back to the Forum! Great photos! 😎Â
Here are some closeups of 1/43rd scale models in my collection now that I am back home from a Christmas visit. I hope you enjoy seeing them.
This cabinet has several 1/43rds scattered among the 1/18th scale Bimmers.
Â
Â
Another cabinet has this group:    Front                                                                                           Side view
Â
BMW's in various settings:    In the entrance view                                                                 Within the TransAm display
Â
A quartet within a wall cabinet designed for 1/24th scale models       Mini/Micro group is within a 16' foot long town diorama                                                     set on a busy Saturday when everyone "comes to town"
Â
From the LeMans display, The 1995 MacLaren F1 is powered by a BMW V12 as is the 1999 winning BMW

@stewil I am mesmerized........... this is an impressive collection of BMWs. I have just one scale model with the 1:1 that goes with it.

Saw Keko's 507 which reminded me that I had one somewhere, so I wandered around and found it in a display case with some other German cars.
Â
Then I stumbled across a few more
A 1955 Isetta by Hongwell Toys and a Bristol which was really a BMW draped in a British flag
Some Bristol history via Wikkipedia:Â
Aldington and his two brothers had marketed the Frazer Nash BMW before the war, and proposed to build an updated version after demobilisation. This seemed the perfect match for the aeroplane company's own ambitions to manufacture a high quality sports car. With the support of the War Reparations Board, H. J. Aldington travelled to Munich and purchased the rights to manufacture three BMW models and the 328 engine.Â
Â
and this 1986 IMSA race car by Starter draped in true BMW M colors
Â
In my search I opened this old dental drawer and found a bunch of forgotten BMWs
Â
1600's, Schuco and Minichamps,  silver 320i by Minichamps
Â
Racing M3's, #10 by IXO and O'Fest memento by Gamma
Â
5 series M5's, E39 by SCHRAX , blk E28 by Jemmpy
Â
Z3 and Z8 both by Minichamps, Z4 by Norev
Â
BMW Vision by Jodi, the Dixi by Schuco
Â
And a Happy New Year to all you model car aficionados. (9:28 PM 12/31/23)
