Thank you, John.

Which is the brass master model on the second picture on the desk? Looks like a model of the 40's but i don't recognize it?

@michel-lemieux  I think it is the 1948 Chevrolet Fleetline; the casting they used for their police car.

It looks like this indeed. Does that mean than BRK plan to do more models? The model has been delated in 2001.

@michel-lemieux  Michel; I really don't know why they would have this master out on the bench at this point in time.  Wouldn't it be nice if they were altering it to produce a 47-48 Pontiac?  I doubt it very much though.....

It would be nice. Maybe i am wrong but it seem than a BRK Pontiac of the 40's was planned one or two years ago. I do not remember which year it was? The pictures has been even show on the Mike Coupe's site and i think than the BRK has been suspended. It would be nice indeed if this Pontiac return on the carpet.

@michel-lemieux  My understanding of the new process Brooklin utilizes would preclude the use of this brass master I believe.  I think the 47-48 Pontiac was going to be a coupe anyway.....but I suspect it's kaput.  I would love to see it done though as I am a huge Pontiac fan!

@michel-lemieux  Yes Michel, Rick Thompson is a great guy and a major Pontiac fan who is very knowledgeable.  I also miss David Knight's posts.

I think that many future release from Brooklin are top secret and if that Chevrolet is on the desk is because something is baking in the oven,

I always pray for future models from the 40s and 50s....So I'm optimstic...

Michel, I too miss the many members of the old forum who no longer participate in this new one. Harvey stated some time back that many of these folks are on facebook now. I don't do facebook and I guess they have chosen not to do this new format. Too bad. My computer was hacked a few months ago and I lost all of my information and contacts and had to change providers. I was told that the jerks who hacked my computer did so through facebook. I know very little about computers but I have chosen not to take a chance for that to happen again.

Rick for me has been a good conseller over the years and i should even say a kind of teacher because my personnal knowledge about cars in general and models are more limited than my english write and speaked. In December, i received a phone call of Ted Wilkerson (eAUTOMOBILIA) from B.C. Fortunately than he speak a bit in french because the conversation would been very short. Do you have already visited his warehouse?

@michel-lemieux  Michel; yes I have bought a great number of models from Wilkinson's Automobilia back when they operated a store on Nanaimo St. in Vancouver.  I loved that place and was sad when they went to their present set up; although I do understand why.  I still buy the odd item from them via ebay as they are so close for postage.  I don't know about their warehouse or whether it is set up for visitors.

I emailed Rick just before Christmas and he's registered on the new forum but he hasn't tried it yet. He hardly buys anymore except for a few Goldvarg Pontiacs and he will very possibly buy the BRK 1961 Pontiac Ventura but after that I think he will stop buying and selling his collection except for his Pontiacs. I am not registered on Facebook and if I ever do so out of obligation, it will be on a false name. What is the worst is identity theft. In Quebec, an employee of the Desjardins caisses stole all the personal information of all the members and copied them onto a USB key. A lot of his information was probably sold on the dark web. The bank offer us a protection service with equifax free for 5 years but despite everything I am not reassured because even Equifax has already had information stolen. We are never sufficiently protected.
