Over the years Brooklin has done a number of Canadian cars for CTCS (Canadian Toy Collectors’ Society.) From the ‘40’s through the mid ‘60’s, U.S. cars built in Canada were variations of their American counterparts. During the ‘50’s my family spent our summer vacations on an island in Georgian Bay, Ontario. As a young boy seeing those Canadian variants each year was one of the best parts of our vacation. Here are two Canadian cars, a ‘49 Monarch (Mercury) 1 of 1000, and a ‘55 Meteor (Ford) 1 of 175.
I had one hell of a time with this post. Pictures kept disappearing, the whole post disappeared once never to be found. I had to start over. In a final effort to edit the text the margins got screwed up. Can’t straighten the left margin. I will not screw it up any more!
I had a similar problem with a Jaguar post this morning. It disappears after I hit 'Add Reply'. Rewrote it and posted it again with success. Likely just an internet glitch. Has not happened previously.
