The last page is great. I had to share it with my wife. She said that explains a lot.

Thanks John. A lot of deaths this time as this collector group continues to age. I noted that pile of Goldvarg models awaiting delivery. Also, more mention of 1/64 scale. Most of the newsletter covered items not generally discussed in our group.

This was a great read that triggered a fond memory for me.  I especially was interested in the very old Tootsie Toy shown with the the T. Eaton Department Store livery.  Eaton's has been gone for very many years now but as a kid it's Toyland was a mecca for me as each Christmas approached.  My mother actually worked there (Victoria, British Columbia location) around 1960 and every other week we would jump on the bus and go pick up her paycheck (no automatic deposit back then).  After doing so she would take this excited little 8 year old to the toy department and buy me either one Dinky Toy or two Matchbox Toys, my choice........yes, this is where it all began for me...lol.  After that it was off to the cafeteria for a toasted butter horn and a chocolate shake....one of my fondest childhood memories.
