Here's an example of what I mean. On "that" auction site, a mint in box Brooklin 1938 Buick Phaeton for $40 plus a reasonable shipping charge.
I have several Buicks from that era and didn't really "need" this one but I put in that opening bid and a week later no one else bid so I won it. Happy to get it at that low price but I don't really have a place to display it.
Just wondering if anyone else does this. Not the first time I have...

I have when I find a Brooklin or Franklin Mint I donβt have, but can usually take a less desirable one off the shelf. Β But less and less room for anything.
