Here's an example of what I mean. On "that" auction site, a mint in box Brooklin 1938 Buick Phaeton for $40 plus a reasonable shipping charge.
I have several Buicks from that era and didn't really "need" this one but I put in that opening bid and a week later no one else bid so I won it. Happy to get it at that low price but I don't really have a place to display it.
Just wondering if anyone else does this. Not the first time I have...

I have when I find a Brooklin or Franklin Mint I don’t have, but can usually take a less desirable one off the shelf. But less and less room for anything.

Thanks Barry.....sometimes you get to the point where you pay more for the shipping on the FIRST one than the whole package price for those that follow 🤔
