The WSJ featured an Edsel collector today, one of each year, 1958-59 and a rare 1960 convertible.  it was mentioned he also runs a model car store in Cary Illinois just west of Chicago,  a Dave Kirkel.   Anyone heard of him or his store?

I think that's "Buz" from Route 66 Model Car Store!

John - I hope your comment was tongue in cheek. Who here has never heard of Buz?

One needs a subscription to read the article but here's the pic of the 3 Edsels.

I know Buz well and have bought my Conquest and WMCE models from his Route 66 Model Car Store (actually an on-line store). I have seen all his Edsels in person. I live about 11 miles from Buz.

@mg-harv Agreed Harv. Buz has been a part of the 1/43 model car world for a very long time with his Route 66 Model car store.
