I had hoped that with the introduction of the '59 convertible, GLM would eventually issue a hardtop coupe and/or a hardtop sedan such as they did for the '60 in a coupe and the '61 in the sedan. So far, that hasn't happened.

Absolutely beautiful giants here ! All the colors are gorgeous and hardtop versions would also be great to have, too. Imperials from 1959 were large and definitely in charge in any color or configuration.
1958 and 1959 are definitely my favorites from this generation of Imperials. Something about the '57 grille just doesn't quite do it for me.
Loving this Imperial in all the colors presented...couldn't pick one over the others! Great pics of course!!

Love the silver one but the black is darned near as gorgeous!
All beauties, I especially like the Sherwood Green, it looks really classy. 🤩
I like the general styling of this era Imperial but to my eye the '59 nose looks overdone; like a '58 that got orthodontic braces.
I would vote for the '58 as best looking but I like the orthodontic motif better than the '57. It's a bit overdone but it was the '50s.
