OK, in 1:1 form these were large cars, very large indeed. Today when I see one, I find them to have a commanding presence. They are distinctive and certainly can't be confused with any other car on the road. I have always been a fan, and I can appreciate everything they had to offer. That kind of car, like the Cadillac and Imperial from the same era took extreme to the very edge. They all made a statement of excess, but for me, they also exhibited class and luxury.
As far as I know, the only 1960 Lincoln model offered by anyone was from Brooklin, and that was a white convertible 1st issued in the late 1990s. Brooklin followed that one with two other convertibles in additional colors and limited numbers. They all reside in my collection, and I am pleased with each and every one.
Now here we are in 2025, and the Brooklin Collector's Club has chosen to commission another version of the 1960 Lincoln model. This time a Town Car Sedan was chosen. A rare car in 1:1 form, and even a bit rarer in model form. The model was issued in a Limited Edition of 95, with the 1st 37 of those individually numbered, mine is #26 (I don't remember now how, but #26 is my number and many of my later LE models have the same number - I also don't recall why some are numbered and others are not-does someone else remember the reason?)
Anyway, this is a wonderful model and is crafted with all the added details that Brooklin models have had for a couple of years now. Everyone knows I am a devoted Brooklin fan and with that I am thrilled to have this gorgeous gem in my collection.

Cool model of a rare car. I stood next to one - just like this - years ago... it was pretty intimidating! 😬 😬 😬

This Lincoln is a beautiful giant. On the real car, a Piper Cub private plane could land on the hood or roof with room to spare, lol !
Love the car, the pics and the writeup.

Gorgeous model and your usual FANTASTIC pictures, John!
Am I seeing correctly, did you not install the twin rear antennas that came in the box?
Here are some interesting pictures from the 1960 Lincoln brochure of this special car:

I have not yet installed them. I'm debating as to whether I should trim them down to a shorter length, or ??

@jcarnutz Has anyone bought the GLM 1959 version of this town car? If so, how does it compare to the Brooklin 60.

@moe-parr I can tell you firsthand that rear leg room is not exaggerated. Even on 2-dr cars, back seat leg room was impressive. 1958-'60 Lincolns were gigantic! 😬 😳 😬
@jcarnutz Hi John. Great photos, but have you or anyone else done an in-depth comparison on both models?
