I took some new photos of these two beauties. I am feeling very honored, and I don't mean this as bragging. As I have mentioned before, I purchased all of the new 1954 Chrysler New Yorkers, in each color. Tom Dirnberger was so kind as to have issued me the LE #01 for each one of them. In addition to those, I also picked up the two '54 Chrysler Concept cars as well. When Tom first sent them, the La Comtesse had a flaw with a missing script on the rear fender. The model has since been replaced and since the 1st was scraped, the replacement was also numbered #01. In addition, Tom didn't have the #01 readily available for the Le Comte, to avoid me having to wait for my model, he sent another with my order. Since then, he has located #01 for the Le Comte, and it has since been replaced as well. So, all twelve of my original 1954 Chrysler models are Serial #01.

Please forgive me for my rambling, here's the new photos of these two rare beauties.

Great pics of two beauties John.....I would love to see a few birds eye pics looking down through the panoramic glass roofs.

Congrats John !  And it's not bragging.... You're being kind and generous with us to let us see your collection and admire models we may or may not have.

Thanks !

I will try to get that done. When I first got them, I did a few shots, but my camera's limitations made them unclear. I might try using my phone's camera to see if that improves them.

I have Le Comte and absolutely love it. My toxic masculinity precludes me from buying that girly pink one Laughing Out Loud

But did it ever keep you from buying / chewing bubble gum ? Or eating cotton candy at the fair... 😂

I have La Comtesse and the interior is really a knock out. I don't collect Chryslers but I had to get this one. I am wondering why Le Comte doesn't have the star crest on the sail panel.

The period photos I found of it don’t show it either. Not sure why. I found no current photos of the car, I’m not sure it still exists. I didn’t find any info whether it did or didn’t either.

Yes, no photo was found with the star crest, so it was left off LeComte. There are also two other subtle differences: the rocker panel chrome is taller (wider?) on LaComtesse, and the chrome piece in back of the front wheel opening is present on LeComte as on production cars, but was never present on LaComtesse.
