This gem just arrived yesterday and sat for a photoshoot today. All things considered; this is an excellent model of a car I've never seen in the flesh. I've seen the Packard Hawk and the sedan for '58 as well as the Studebaker version, but this is my 1st time outside of photos for the Packard. It may be the last gasp of the once Mighty Packard Brand and not always widely accepted as a "real Packard" but for me, it's a beauty that I'm very happy to hold in my hand, and consider it a "Packard"

Very nice and definitely something different. I'm waiting for my blue one to arrive.
I had decided to pass on this one but after looking at your fabulous pictures, I'm going to have to think about this.
Very goofy, just like the 1:1. 😀 🙂
One designer was tasked with trying to quickly & cheaply overall the Studebaker hardtop into a Packard. This car always had that "it was a rush-job" look.Â
He (Joel McCrae ?? ) tried his best, with the little resources he had, to turn this "Packardbaker" into a mini-Chrysler 2-dr hardtop. Great model and a MUST HAVE for 1950's Packard AND Studebaker fans. IMO, it's LONG overdue!Â
Very striking - might be based on this existing example?

@jack-dodds Jack, I too am waiting for my blue one to arrive. This model is of a car that I find very unattractive but love having in my collection.
An excellent addition and a really good and interesting Esval replica of this Packard ! That color is a absolute standout and it most certainly is an automobile you don't see very often.

It certainly has a styling all its own and I waffled a bit initially, but I decided I had to have it because it is so very unusual and because of its place in automobile history.
