Has anyone received theirs yet? If so, I have a question for you. Thanks!

Does it concern the Wildcat script on the rear fender? Mine is upside down!

Both of mine are as well. Any suggestions for a fix?

I just took a look at images from various sellers online and lots of them show the Wildcat with the same upside down badges. Maybe Goldvarg based their model on pictures of a car intended for the Australian market?

But seriously, given how easily some P/E parts can be accidentally knocked off with the mere touch of a finger, I wonder if these badges could be safely removed and flipped over, since the problem seems to be on both sides of the model and it looks as if the people assembling the models (and presumably unable to read the English script) have simply misunderstood the orientation of the badges and applied them upside down - either on the correct side of the car or the opposite side, I'm not sure which.

Of course, the P/E parts on Goldvarg models don't seem prone to detaching themselves, so maybe they use a stronger adhesive and/or apply a protective clear coat on top, in which case removal might be tricky with a risk of paint damage. Maybe Sergio could advise on whether it would be safe to try some warm water followed by a careful nudge with a No. 11 Exacto blade or similar?

Perhaps Sergio could offer a decal fix with color background. Some months ago I posted about a backwards 'HEMI' decal on a GLM Barracuda and they produced a correct decal which I applied. You'd need a magnifying glass to spot the fix.

Aussie market - good one Graeme! LoL

I can see it would be easy to apply a new decal on top of an incorrect one, but (based on the pics I've seen) I thought those badges on the Buick were 3-dimensional P/E script. Hard to disguise that with a decal, no?

@chris

I find it hard to believe that cars would leave Buick factory with the model name upside down.

@ed-davis ...or that photoshopping would leave the cat emblem right side up. Nice try Chris! LoL

I thought the GV cat emblem was also right side up, otherwise my "trickery"  (albeit weak as water) would have included it.

Obviously I'm joking around here, but I can assure you that MANY things leave MANY factories incorrectly, broken or missing altogether.

Once, I bought a new Plymouth and the metal surrounding the taillight had a "bite"  (looking) mark.  No one noticed, the area was painted, assembled & delivered.

I bought a new Ford... the rear bumper was off center by almost 3/4 of an inch.

I purchased a new Chrysler, and the rear bumper script (the model/trim name ) was missing.

Lastly (and my favorite ) I bought (another ) new Chrysler.  Inside the headlight assembly was a dead spider, who apparently became caught in glue seconds before the pieces came together.

😬 😬 😬

Dear friends,

Thanks so much for the comment regarding the "Wildcat" badge.

Of course, I feel so hurt in my feelings about this issue, as I am always on top of the quality of each model, as each model has a part of my soul in it.

Seems that I will need glasses next time, as this is a small lettering detail.

I dont know how many have this issue, but I don't think is fair for you guys to ship the badge and fix yourself.

I have already ordered extra Buicks, which I will replace for all of you as soon as they arrive.

I will let you know when are ready to ship. It will not be necessary to send back yours. You may keep it.

Again, I feel so bad about this, but I perfectly understand your comments.

As a collector, I would be also frustrated to buy a model, and when it arrives, I notice that the badge is wrongly placed.

Of course, if you want your money back, I will also understand.

Best regards,

Sergio.
