The appreciation of cars has been part of me for as long as I can remember. I have collected just about every brand I have come across as each has an interest to me. I started out wanting to assemble a collection that represented the automobile from the start until today. In that process, I brought together a significant selection of brands from around the world. Of those, the Pierce-Arrow has always been my favorite followed closely by Packard. While the Pierce-Arrow is a grand automobile, the models off this brand are very limited, I wish more were available. The Packard as a model, is much different (I can still never have enough) there are a wide variety available from the 30s all the way to the end of the brand, 1958. So let me spend some time with a few of those in my collection and share them with you.

1938 Packard Twelve Model 1607 Victoria Convertible Coupe, issued by Automodello in 2012. It is a replica of one found in the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Museum. A Limited Edition of 499 in Chinese Red.

John,

Have you ever had a chance to visit the Pierce Arrow museum in Buffalo New York ? I went there years ago with my two brothers. We are from Buffalo but I'm living on the west coast now and I was astounded at what a beautiful museum it is. You could spend hours and hours and hours looking at everything from their bicycles to a recreation of an Art Deco gas station and it's just incredible. Being in Michigan you're only a couple of hours away. I hope you've either been there or are planning to go and check it out.

We've also been to the Blackhawk Museum in Danville California that's another one I highly recommend.

I have the cream version and this is still an outstanding model by today's standards. The 1934 Victoria is also an amazing collector's piece.
