Just arrived March 15, these GLM 1954 Chrysler New Yorker hardtops and Town and Country wagons, 2 concepts, and 1963 Grand Turismo Hawks. The last three will be covered in other posts.
In the spring of 1954, Chrysler announced two “spring specials”, the Golden Falcon, and the Blue Bird. We elected to model both of these with the Blue Bird in reverse colors. The special colors for these cars are only found on some 1955 color chips. The Golden Falcon colors were Steel Haze Gray and Gold, the Blue Bird colors were Bahama Blue (medium) and Royal Crest Blue Metallic (dark).
In addition you will see the hardtops in Mint Green over Sea Island Green and Tahitian Tan over Cordovan Brown Metallic.
These models are now available from Tom at dirn44@gmail.com, or Dale at dxd79@case.edu. Retail on these models is $129. Forum readers can purchase for $119 and free shipping by mentioning the Forum.
Nice looking models, which I saw at last weekend’s Chicago show.

Beautiful ! What superb looking Spring Specials from Chrysler for 1954.
WOW! WOW! WOW! These are all fantastic and I love the colors on each one, which is why...
Oh my, I suffer from this model disease so badly, LOL!

John, sorry, but I do not think there is a cure for this model disease. Have you ordered your “medicine” yet from GLM?

I only seem to find a temporary cure with the order of a model(s) and then I wait for its arrival. All is good for a time and then…

Your question is answered now it seems. I got the same color station wagon as you Barry!
Between GLM/Stamp and Goldvarg my wallet is depleted. I have the two tone green hardtop and the two tone blue wagon coming along with the Champaign 63 Studebaker Hawk and the Bronze Chrysler show car.
Nice models to add to your collection. Do you plan to add one of those GLM 1956 Chryslers or is your wallet saying No.

Bob;
The 2-tone green HT was a very close second to the 2-tone blue one I ultimately went with. It's a beauty; I'm sure you'll love it.
