Jack I'm with you. My favorite Imperial from the sixties is the 62.
@nickies Tom Dirnberger (an Imperial expert who has had several GLM models released) asked GLM not to make one in that color, but they did anyway. As John says above, there is at least one real one that was restored in that color. So it is a Chrysler color, just not an Imperial color. But I'd wager that back in the day, you could get your Chrysler dealer to order one like that. After all, someone was able to order a '65 Riviera in the Cadillac bronze color, which Brooklin made.
@jcarnutz John; The car show pic you post makes me have to ask.....do you have any other pics of this particular show and if so would you be kind enough to post some of them? The surrounding cars look very cool!
