I saw on Facebook yesterday that Sergio is indicating that the Goldvarg 1955 Pontiac Chieftan 2drht. is being done at some point.  This is very good news for me as I love the '55; it is my fave Pontiac of that decade.  Sergio was asking for color preferences on Facebook so I thought we Forum members might like to recommend our favorite choices.  I assume there will be two color variations as per usual.

My color preferences are (1) Beaumont Blue Poly/Polo White tutone and (2) Bolero Red and Black

@mg-harv That's a 1956. I don't think those colors were available in 1955.

I've always thought these were two of Pontiac's best color schemes for 1955.

It's an unusual combination, but popular in the '50s - albeit, not on cars! I would certainly like to see this Pontiac in Castle Gray over Persian Maroon Poly.

Dear Jack,

Thanks so much for mentioning about the 1955 Pontiac development.

Really, this is a model that I was going to make in my white metal range in then 1990's, but when I moved to the United States, I donated all the factory to a government laboratory.

Here is the brass master.

Best regards!

Sergio

Yes those are 1956 colors and I SEEM to recall that Sergio is doing the Safari wagon in those colors??

Corsair Tan and Driftwood Beige are similar 1955 color options combined with white/off white though.  IMHO the Driftwood Beige/white combo is really nice.

The '55 Pontiac Chieftan HT is a really nice looking car Sergio and I think it will be a sales success.  Will one of your two color choices have the continental kit deleted?  I have to be honest and say that I am not a fan of this feature.

I would agree, no continental kit.   New subject,  Goldvarg Mopars? Can a license be obtained from Stellantis somehow?

This is a really beautiful car and Pontiac and this makes a sensational 1/43 model. I like this car in any color and style and a Continental kit is fine, as I am sure several might be offered, so everybody can be happy. I have 5 of the 1/18 SunStar replicas so a gorgeous Goldvarg 1/43 would be a real treat !

Chris, my grandparents and after that, our family had a 1955 Pontiac for nearly 10 years. It was reliable and a wonderful car. The second Pontiac ad in your post shows one I think was pretty similar to our family Pontiac .... Beaumont Blue Poly over Marietta Blue 4 door.

@mikedetorrice the 1/18 Sunstar Pontiac was one of my projects and development for the Sunstar factory. Best regards!

@chris Chris, I believe the color on the convertible was a Star Chief Custom color only and not available on the Chieftain series cars.
