Three words:

THAT IS MAGNIFICENT!

If I collected Porsche replicas...this would be a must have.  Those close-up shots of THAT 1/43 scale detail blew me away!

Considering the tragic events unfolding daily in that part of the world, this release is all the more remarkable.  Simply amazing on all fronts. Great review John, I really enjoyed it.

Another excellent video look at this superb Porsche 1/43 replica, John. They certainly pulled out all the stops on this one and it looks great. Really incredible detail shown here. Glad to see EMC is up and running again and Vlad and his family are ok. Go EMC ! Go Ukraine !

John - A few niggles. The Porsche is a rear-engined car, not mid-engined. Also, learn the proper pronunciation -"Por-sha" for future 'My Takes'. And by 'tragic events' you mean the wholesale slaughter, rape, and kidnapping of innocent Ukrainian civilians by Russia.

That said, a beautiful model - I will have to get one.

@mg-harv This 1/43 Porsche replica of the 1947/1948 prototype is a mid-engine car.

@mg-harv

Do you know when the first 356 cars were sold in the US?

@ed-davis The first 356 Cabriolet was imported to the U.S. in November of 1952 by Austrian businessman/importer Max Hoffman.

As some of you know, my wife bought a Macan a few years ago - a great car with fantastical seats.  I tend to say Por-scha now but try to stop myself!  Margie definitely called it a Porche.  But it ain't no 911 some some folks around here have!  😯 🙄
