@michel-lemieux This is a very nice model - and not so far off the colours I mentioned above. Â May I ask who the model maker is?
Thank-you Harv, I'm not so good with abbreviations especially given we don't see Motor City models, here in Europe as much as you do in the States: more's the pity as they can be beautiful as we see in Michael's and your own Pontiac. Contrary to a comment made above, I do like the continental kit.
@mg-harv Yes, and in these colors of Sun Beige and Sandalwood tan and like the car you posted without the continental kit.
@charles-rockett That's why I sent the photos of the Pontiac Persian Maroon. You made me think, Charles. Here are two more in Persian Maroon and Castle gray or white mist I have trouble seeing the difference. The Safari and the convertible top up also with the Persian Maroon color.Â
@michel-lemieux Wow! with Harv's yellow & black, (v. 1950s) and your Safari and convertibles, (up & down) we really have a demonstration of Motor City's art.
@mikedetorrice Yes, I remember your story about your family's blue Pontiac. You'll recall I mentioned that in high school I won an art show with my watercolor painting of that tu-tone blue Pontiac. I still haven't been able to locate it...yet, I KNOW it's in the house somewhere! 🤨 🤨 🤨
the 1/18 Sunstar Pontiac was one of my projects and development for the Sunstar factory. Best regards!
Ah, lol, I did suspect that you perhaps had an involvement with this beautiful model ! It is a fantastic Platinum release.Â
This post certainly makes me appreciate just how many beautiful color combinations were done by GM for Pontiac in 1955. Picking just two won't be an easy task for Sergio.

I remember that and it would be great if the painting would show up ! 1955 Pontiac's make superb subject matter for anyone ..... artists, photographers, car enthusiasts, diecast collectors ........ and model makers in any medium !
