John Merritt - just following up on your black '62 Chrysler New Yorker 😉

Barry. The Chrysler arrived yesterday, it was waiting for me when I came home.
I took it out of the box and I have looked it over to make sure all is well. It was. Now for the my initial thoughts, I hope to be able to take a closer look early next week and snap a few photos.
The model looks good, it does have wider whitewalls than the photos of the white one I've seen. Not sure why they made them different, but the wider whites work well for this model and definitely looks good in its black coat.
From the front and side, the model looks great. I am a little disappointed with the rear view and that "bubble-look" of the top and window. That is really wrong, but not enough for me to have stayed away from the model as I had originally thought. Overall, the model is unmistakable as a '62 Chrysler, which I really like, so I am good with the top concerns, and it is otherwise very well executed.
I am pleased to add this to my collection.
