@chris If ANYONE thinks CA is the ONLY state in America with WACKO-WOKE-OUT-DATED-BIZZARO laws on the books, well.... HA!
Canada has British Columbia (aka California North for decades now) as our example of WACKO BIBIZZARO. I was born in Victoria (the province capitol), lived and worked there most of my life up until four years ago when I thankfully moved to Alberta upon retirement. The cultural deterioration of British Columbia, (Victoria and Vancouver in particular) is shocking and depressing to experience; they used to be absolutely wonderful. The British Columbia of old is gone forever.
Glad you are where you all need and deserve to be. We were only in B.C. once, during shore visits on an Alaskan Cruise. Beautiful country!

I'll tell ya one thing, Virginia has...gas at $3.00 a gallon. Let's see CA beat that!

@jkuvakas Gas prices are really a moot point in CA, most drive EVs or Hybrids. One can travel about 700 miles for c.$25

@chris, not really, even hybrids still need gas. BTW, we have both here in Virginia as well.

No, most DO NOT drive EV's in California. Completely untrue.
According to the latest statistics, as of 2023, Total registered vehicles is 30.4 million, and 1.2 million EV's.

It's all good. I wasn't annoyed. Sometimes I pull out that New York city attitude out of my pocket...sorry muscle memory

I suspect one day every social media platform on earth will allow for voice-typing (like voice texting ). In that way, we'll be able to hear each other's sarcasm, condescending attitudes, and jocularity thereby eliminating, in theory, the need for clarifications, retractions, and/or apologies.
- perhaps we should all ZOOM each other one day? 🤔 🤔
