Tennessee's petrol prices are usually lower than many states. Gassed up yesterday on regular at $2.41 per gallon. I grocery shop at Food City and use their gas pumps since they give a large discount for food shopping. Weigel's, a large convenience store chain, typically has the best prices in eastern Tennessee and they sell currently at $2.69 per gallon (regular) unless you are a Weigel's credit card-holding "Club Member", then it is $2.59 per gallon. So I'm a happy camper at Food City.I'll tell ya one thing, Virginia has...gas at $3.00 a gallon. Let's see CA beat that!

Gasoline today in Eugene Oregon observed about $4.25 a gallon for regular with 10% ethanol. Seems to have spiked from around $4.05 in the last week. I really don't care as my daily gasoline expense spread out over 6 cars is less than $2.00 a day average. And given the bonehead driving I see out there all the time, I do not think most drivers care about gasoline expense or consumption at all. Speeding, tailgating, jackrabbit starts, unnecessary trips, the proliferation of 5000+ pound four wheel drive pickups with one person aboard. The concept of hyper-mile-ing it is long forgotten.

Washington state here ...... we are one of the most expensive in the country. The new Governor passed a tax increase. Premium $5.14 at Safeway and we know it will get worse.
@perrone1 We're running about the same here in our area of Ohio on gas prices. We were down to around $2.20 on average at one point.😊
@perrone1 Yep, about the same deal at Kroger. Sometimes I get as much as 15 cents a gallon off.
To put fuel costs in perspective, here in Ontario, Canada, I just filled up my Audi with premium 91 octane gasoline at a ‘good’ price of $1.51 a litre. That is about $5.70 per US gallon.
Gas at the Shell station in Brandon Mississippi today was $2.59.
