Minichamps Model A
I've always been impressed with Minichamps for the most part, recently aquired the '29 Ford A coupe off ebay at a good price. Fantastic! captures the real car very well, the radiator shell and headlight buckets have the appearance of the actual nickel plating rather than overly shiny chrome or silver paint. Their '49 Ford F1 pickup and '49 Ford convert are excellent also.
Apart from the Ford truck...
... these never were available in the UK. I would not mind buying them myself, can you let me know who is the Seller?
Thank you, Leon!
There were at least three different sets issued for the Ford Anniversary Series.
One for Europe, one for the USA, and one for Australia. Most cars were the same but a few varied. Some months back I got a 1933 Ford Coupe that was only in the Australian Series. Minichamps has reissued most if not all of the Ford Anniversary models as standards to their line and any good Minichamps dealer should be able to get them. If you have no source try some of the European dealers on the Web or Dellergo Imports in Ohio or EWA in NJ.
Sellers ebay name is BSHEAH, Don't know if he has any more model "A"s.
Many thanks, Leon and Dick!!!
Alex, just got mine from Diecast Direct (see URL in my message) http://www.diecastdirect.com/asp_modules/add_item.asp?ProductCode=MIN082100
Thanks, Randall! I've dealt with them before...
... - good reliable business - shall look at the site again, maybe pick up a few other die-casts of US cars.
