Not quite up to the Euro-intellect level of your latest scenario π
1961 Volvo
Someone must have driven their new 1800 to hear Coltrane live in Stockholm in 1961!Β Just an amazing pairing...
@karl Karl, with shape, style and cultural cred' like the P1800, I imagine quite a few would have been parked in front of Stockholm'sΒ Koncerthusen that night.
We Brits' sometimes refer to it as "The Saint Volvo" after the T.V. programme of the same name, staring Roger Moore as SimonΒ Templar - The Saint.
1960 Dodge Polara - Western Models
Towering genius of the 1950's popular music scene, Jesse Belvin died with his wife and driver in a suspicious auto accident following a racially charged performance in Little Rock Arkansas; February 6th, 1960. The bill including Sam Cooke, Jackie Wilson, and Marv Johnson was the first integrated concert in the city's history and had to be stopped twice by state troopers due to racial violence in the auditorium.

@charles-rockett tragic story Iβd not been aware of; posted video not available but found a few others on YouTube. Β His sound to my ear was a cross between Nat King Cole and some Brook Benton.

@frank Hi Frank, he was a major song writer before charting himself - having written 'Earth Angel' for the Penguins among a number of other hits. His own major hit was Goodnight My Love, which set-off his singing career: signing with RCA who guided the Nat King Cole / Sam Cooke sound, but there's a lot of earlier R & B, Doo Wop and Ballads. Β I shall post some stuff in your 50s Cars 'n' Stars section π.
Etta James said of him "He was the most gifted of us all. Even now I consider him the greatest singer of my generation. Rhythm and Blues, Rock and Roll, crooner, you name it, he was going to be bigger than Sam Cooke, bigger than Nat Cole."
(Richmond, Norman (December 5, 2012). "The golden voice of Jesse Belvin").
P.S. Do you mean the "It's All Right With Me" track, I posted above was not available?
@frank Here it's working - perhaps if you're interested, google Β It's All Right With Me / Jesse Belvin / youtube Β . Β I posted it with your Coltrane on my mind and I think you'd appreciate it.
