@karl Interesting. Would this have been for general sale, or promotion / sale through Esso stations?
@frank Great track and very nice Chevy. The '62 with its alloy rear panel and inserted circular lights is - I think - my favourite ever Chevrolet.
@charles-rockett They also had an open top version in white; I think they were just general issues from Corgi.

@frank For a short while my dad had one of these exactly as your model - 62-66 Ford Consul Cortina - in deep navy. I have fond memories of it.
One more Volvo for the road Frank, in glorious red. I taught a shipmate from New York City to drive a red one in 1968. He couldn't help but buy it, had always taken cabs or buses in the city with no need for a car, and then this beauty swept him off his feet. Don't remember what he played on the radio though. Bookmarked this thread too. Thanks.
A different view.

I loved that MK.I Cortina back in the day; especially in Lotus form. I have a few in my model collection.
@karl Unusual to see that decal on the coupe version of the Elan. Most were on the metallic blue open one.

And here's your Lotus Cortina along with the Squire and a stock saloon. This Lotus version was a personal creation.
