On African Culture.........
When Jimi Hendrix passed through Paris on one of his tours, a guitarist he was keen to meet was Nicolas Kasanda wa Mikalay – the Congolese fingerpicking electric guitar master more widely known as Dr. Nico, or to many across mid-20th century Africa, L’ Eternel Docteur Nico. At around the same time that “Clapton is God” graffiti was appearing on London walls, Africans were calling Dr. Nico the Guitar God.

@frank What a fabulous video, Frank, and a long standing question answered. This is a MkII whereas I've always tried to squeeze it into the TR series, but found I have one too many!

Regarding …still in 1967.
Great song Frank and nice Triumph Spitfire Mk II. I’m a Triumph fan having owned a few.
Stranger On The Shore was such a part of British culture, and how we viewed ourselves. Yet for the last decades it's virtually unheard of. Thank you for posting this and your very smart TR4.
(I've posted perhaps too enthusiastically, recently, on the VC10. If one listens to Stranger On The Shore and picture the sublime VC10 effortlessly wooshing to some far-flung corner of the Empire the reader will understand what I mean above. There is the British '60s of the Beatles, that is to be celebrated. But there is also this, other, forgotten side).
