@frank I like your '68 Charger - this metallic rust-red suits it well.
Inspired by recent musical posts, here are a couple of personal favourites: a 1966 Mercury Comet Cyclone GT and P.F. Sloan's "From A Distance".
Not to be confused with Alfred P. Sloan ; ) during the mid-1960s, he wrote, performed, and produced many Billboard Top 20 hits for artists such as Barry McGuire, the Searchers, Jan and Dean, Herman's Hermits, Johnny Rivers, the Grass Roots, the Turtles, and the Mamas and the Papas. Sloan's signature song is "Eve of Destruction," a 1965 U.S. number one for McGuire.
@bob-jackman Sorry, I always forget to put manufacturer. It was by 43rd. Avenue / Milestone Miniatures. (I send a message separately)
Charles mentioned songwriter P.F. Sloan and the Turtles. Well, back in 67 the Turtles and Camaro were big!

@frank Good to hear the Turtles, who hardly ever get a mention in the '60s pop scene despite a fair output.
@charles-rockett from Wiki:
Flo & Eddie is a comedy rock duo consisting of Mark Volman (Flo, short for Phlorescent Leech) and Howard Kaylan (Eddie)
The two were the original founding members of the Top 40 mid-to late 1960s rock and pop group The Turtles. After the Turtles dissolved in 1970, Volman and Kaylan first joined Frank Zappa's band The Mothers of Invention as Phlorescent Leech & Eddie.

@frank This is all new and very interesting stuff to me, which I'll look into. As I believe I mentioned earlier, my angle in on all this, is to a large extent conservative and among the output I appreciate, is good, readily consumed product. I would bag The Turtles in with The Monkeys, The Knickerbockers, Mccoys and the like. It may not be revolutionary as other good stuff is, but that does not detract - for me. Here is another from '65. Plus Motor City/ Design Studio (?) 1965 Pontiac GTO
@charles-rockett Next you’ll be pulling out the Blues Mcgoos and Strawberry Alarm Clock.
love the 65 Bonney. A close buddy had the 65 Bonny convertible, dark blue with light blue top. 👍✌️

Still trying to get to grips with 'The Streets Of London' after forty five years (or so) you confront and confound me with such modernity as the Blues Mcgoos
