Wow... is that an O gage train in the background?  Your 1/43 replicas display on a train layout?  Nice! 😉 😀

Thank you for the comment and, yes it is a small O gauge layout.  I have a diner scene "in progress" and hope to have that up for future photo shoots. Some on this board already have some excellent diner sets!

The scene and car colors complement one another really well.  Very nice indeed!

What is the overall size of your O gauge train layout? Your models display well on it.

@ed-davis Thank you Ed - it's an 8x8 layout. Simple figure 8 within an outer loop + a trolley on Lionel FasTrack- buildings are Woodland Scenics and Walthers (Route 66 Motel -not in these shots but have posted other shots with that backdrop). I have plans to do more with the layout but for some reason the hobby budget keeps getting pulled in the direction of 1/43 scale models......

Very familiar with Walthers and Woodland Scenics. I often buy things from them for my 1/64 scale train layout. Mine is 10 ft by about 6.5 ft and has two loops for running two trains. There is even a spot suitable for photographing a 1/43 scale car. I understand the budget thing. My problem is I still like to collect diecast airplanes and military vehicles.

I like your use of the background pictures.  They make the scenes much more realistic.  I have not done this on my layout, since none of the layout is along a wall.
