@hobbydragon both to a degree but I was mainly meaning just how well the 2 colors go together, beautiful match
@hobbydragon wish I could afford Ilario models. Never see them for sale here in Australia and with their original high cost, exchange rate and postage. Great seeing these pics though!

Geoff, you can find Ilario models in the $200-250 range, they are pricy but quality is impeccable and they are well worth it. The ilario store also have frequent sales although I have not seen sales of more than 15-20%. I just won the model bellow on eBay for a reasonable price. The model is absolutely beautiful and this auction photo does not do it justice. I saw the car in the Blackhawk museum some years ago.
@karl Hey Karl. Xerox - is a Chinese brand, that produces a counterfeit replicas of Ilario and Evrat models. It not a resemblance- that's an authentic model, just made after completion of main order by above firms. Ilario makes his models in China for a while, and always complains, that his models were produced without permission. Anyway, Xerox' price range is about $200 a piece, that is pretty cheaper than €300 Ilario models. The quality as I said is the same
Xerox is a rip off in US though, the ones I see for sale on eBay are more in the range of $400 shipped to the US (before tariffs are slapped on them), that is more expensive that buying from the ilariostore when they are on sales. Moreover considering these models are Ilario's counterfeits, I would rather buy the Ilario brand.
@chav thanks Chav, that is one beautiful model of an equally stunning car! $200-$250US is about $300-$375 Aust. then we add around $80-$100Aust for postage and 10% tax on top of all that. Although having said all that I'm just about out of 1/24 space, so one path I could take is 4-5 high quality Ilario et al models a year.
I appreciate your response
In US we have toy shows too, I found some of the best deals at toy shows. With little overhead and cash transactions, sellers are willing to make larger discounts. Another way of getting cheaper models is buying models with defects and repairing them.
@chav Here in Israel, they are still cheaper than Ilario originals, and even in case the difference is about $50, it's still makes sense. Anyway I obviously still buy from Ilariostore, right now purchased El Glaoui Delahaye at January sales.
Very insteresting thread. Here you have a regular visitor...
