@geoff-jowett I typically scrutinize the Heco models before I buy as not all of them have the right proportions, they are typically expensive, and there is usually cheaper alternative from different manufacturer. In the case of this Talbot, the proportions were right and the price was right, I was only concerned that the metallic flakes were oversized but when I saw the model in person, that appeared not to be the case. It is an excellent model. I have two other Heco models, I only buy them if they are good value.

@chav wow! Theres a 1/24 kit of this car around which I've been meaning to have a go at. Trouble is when I see near perfection of the same car in diecast, sorta puts me off, no way could I get to look as good as this.

@geoff-jowett I do love Heco for their "warm" look. Ilario is much more precise, with higher level of detail and paintwork, but still Heco models are gems, they are rare and valuable.

MIRA made a cheap one in 1/24, excellent proportions, mediocre quality. However, it is a great space filler if you like this car. The only issue, rarely shows up for sale, will post pictures later.

PS: here, found a video:

@chav that looks great Chav. Bit of blackwash on the grill would work wonders I'd say. Just checked MIRA on ebay. Couple of nice Packards and Ferraris at very reasonable prices. Thanks for the tip

This Bugatti is the best value from MIRA, they have a Packard and Mercedes from the '30s but there are better models from the mints and CMC. The MIRA Bugatti stance and proportions are better than the Heller kit you was referring too. Lots of room for improvement ... the chassis is molded in plastics but the body is diecast.

@geoff-jowett do you mean a color separation between two tones of paintwork, or paint scheme? The paint scheme used as on the original car, and color separation is absolutely perfect, as on original Ilario model

@mg-harv yes Harv, I know about it's existence, but try to avoid buying diecast models (just sold all of them), solely collecting a high-end resin cast ones
