1/43 Luxcar by Ilario (unofficial remake) - 1939 Bugatti 57C closed cabriolet by Voll & Ruhrbeck (chassis # 57819)
is that really one 43rd the size of the original? Stunning. A question. How do u display this amazing collection?
@geoff-jowett that's definitely an exact 1/43 scale. The wheelbase is the same as a regular Type 57, but the overhangs are pretty long.
I'm in the process of buying of a new place and moving in it next year, so at the moment there is no exhibition and all models are in their original cases. Anyway I will have some closet in the future place, where I will be able to exhibit part of a collection, still in closed boxes (the plinth and the clear cover) due to a significant value of the models and their sensibility to the dust and domestic fat (dispensed in the air)
yep totally agree, I have kept plinths with a number of models, both 1/24 and 1/43. In most cases I've had acrylic covers made for the 1/24s.@geoff-jowett that's definitely an exact 1/43 scale. The wheelbase is the same as a regular Type 57, but the overhangs are pretty long.
