@hobbydragon More on Aston LBL/765: One of the two chassis S. H. "Wacky" Arnolt purchased in 1954, apparently it did not sell when displayed in white at the Turin Auto Show in 1957. I don't know if it took Bertone 3-4 years to complete or if Wacky took possession of it for a while. It was repainted blue at Bertone and sold at the 1958 Turin show to a Parisian customer. At some point it was painted red, then restored to the 1958 blue color. Correctly, there is no Arnolt emblem on the trunk lid, even though it is still called an Arnolt Aston Martin in most circles.

I found this online: Then to bring the total to eight cars, Wacky bought two more Aston’s in 1954 and had them shipped to Turin. These Arnold-Aston Martins were not completed until 1957. Wacky forgot about them, and finally Bertone he had to write and ask what to do with them. These were LML 762, a convertible, and LML 765, a fixed head coupe, with body designs completely different from the earlier cars.

Matrix also made a white version (MX40108-012) in addition to the red, but I don't think they did the blue.

@hobbydragon Re the Matrix Arnolt Aston cabrio: Arnolt originally bought six Aston DB2 chassis, numbered LML/502 to LML/507. #502 and 507 were set up for racing, 503 and 505 were likely coupes, leaving 504 and 506 as open cars. The Matrix you posted is LML/506 and has the correct UK license tag for the 1:1. It correctly omits an Arnlt badge on the trunk lid. 

Matrix could have easily made 504 by painting this one red, adding the Arnolt badge, and a few other minor changes.

Just got from a friend one more Aston, this time with Allemano body. Will add in couple of days, after replacing on the normal plinth and taking pictures 

Here's one you may want to acquire: Arnolt-Aston Martin DB2/4 Competition Spyder. This was chassis LML/502, painted Bordeaux red. The Arnolt badge is on the back and note how the car's shape mimics the Arnolt-Bristol. {Matrix No. MX40108-031).

A few decades ago I knew a Ferrari collector in Atlanta (both 1:1 and smaller scales). He let me know that a restoration shop there was completing an Arnolt-Aston and would I like some badges that the shop was having made. Of course I replied! (It might have been this competition spyder.) Anyway I needed them as they were missing from my own Arnolt-MG. I got four and have kept one as a souvenir since I sold both of my MGs a few years ago. 

Here is LML/504. You can see how easily Matrix could make this one. Interesting history.

@mg-harv generally I don't see a problem to repaint this model in this shade of red, should I have a donor car. Let me see if I can obtain one/

P.S. Nope... After a quick check on eBay, I feel that that is pretty impossible to get the donor car. Anyway, will keep an eye on it

@hobbydragon Well, I wasn't suggesting a modeller would do the repaint. But Matrix could do a reissue easily.

@mg-harv due to I anyway build kits and make conversions, repaint shouldn’t be a problem. Still finding a donor car looks tricky.
