@karl Yes, Rio's 135M Coupe and Solido's Cabrio by Chapron were pretty loved models...
I grew up in the USA and got many Rio/Solido/Yesteryear models when I visited Europe. With a name like Dragon, did you grow up in China? 😉
I'm late to this string but just wanted to thank you for posting this collection of outstanding models in a genre that is not reflected a great deal on this Forum.
@karl never thought that a username reflects the country of origin hhhhh. I'm an Israeli of Soviet descent. Now I think that I should have taken a Tzimmes or Gefilte Fish username 🤣
😊 I thought I saw a Hobby Dragon website somewhere or epay username - sold Chinese diecast! 🤔
I probably just got it confused with:
@karl I'm just kidding.
I just love dragons and have my hobby))))
Anyway, Century Dragon once was a chinese maker of resin-cast handmade cars. Now it ceased production and resellers simply get rid of leftovers for ridiculous prices/
If someone needs information about 1/43 model makers hopefully I can help
So that begs the question - do you have ay 1:43 dragons? [I am just kidding around too!] Sorry to take this post off-topic, but this is a fun discussion!
When I find useful info on 1:43 makers, I try to add it to hobbyDB. For example: https://www.hobbydb.com/marketplaces/hobbydb/subjects/ilario-brand
@karl good to know))) I'm used to keeping everything in my head.
I know Ilario Chiera personally, corresponded with him and do have many of his models. Several years ago, while travelling in France, I've tried to meet him in his home town at his factory (La Balme-De-Sillingy near Annecy) but wasn't allowed.
@karl btw: an information about Century Dragon is not complete and many models in 1/43 that it produced are missing

I would be happy to correct any thing in hobbyDB that you see is missing / wrong; I am a curator there. We do not have every item from every manufacturer - just whatever items our contributors upload. Its a bit like wiki. I bet many of your French Curves are also missing... Email me at goschnelle (gmail) if you want.
@hobbydragon while recognizing subjectivity was there ever a poor Delahaye design? thanks for the pics
@geoff-jowett generally, this design of Guillore that I like the least
