I think these are only available at EBAY

I'd prefer it without the fender skirts.

I hate fender skirts. But on some cars they look great.... T-Bird's for one !

I checked on pictures of the 1:1 (just to refresh my memories).
I hope the removing of the model from its stand will lower the model's stance. Looks interesting, though. Thanks, JayGolan.
(later) After looking at the one for sale on the 'bay and reading Graeme's comments below, I've decided against ordering this Pontiac.
Well, the body and detailing aren't bad at all, but the car sits ridiculously high on horribly skinny wheels. The tyres are already touching the base so I don't think removing the model from the plinth would help matters much. It's a shame, and it surely would have been easy enough to get the ride height correct? Anyone buying this would need to take it apart and put some padding under the axles to sit them higher in the body.
Only the old convertible version seems to be showing on eBay at the moment, but I think I'll give the HT a miss anyway. I have the Neo convertible and hardtop and they are so much better I don't grudge the extra money they cost.

Skirts, ugh. Hate em on this car. Otherwise I'd buy one of those.
I have purchased 4 each of the newly released '56 Buick Roadmaster, '54 Cadillac & '55 Cadillac Coupe de Villes and I am very happy with each. The '55 Cadillac models are missing the chrome strips on the rear, but that is an easy fix. I am willing to try a couple of these '59 Pontiac models to see how they are, maybe they can easily be modified to sit lower if it is really necessary. I haven't ordered yet but will soon. I'll let you know when they arrive in a few weeks to a month.

Oh, and while I'm in a picky mood, isn't there just a hint of the Dreaded Yellow Bend about the front end?
Nevertheless, just in case I change my mind and decide it might be fun to have, can anyone point me to an eBay site where this is avaliable? I've looked at a few and they all seem to be offering the earlier convertible version, I couldn't see any offers of the HT, although I may just have missed them.

I did notice that too, and that is the reason I've not yet ordered one. I am curious to see if that is improved when they are actually released.

Goldvarg have been willing to correct detail inaccuracies even at a very late stage prior to production. Not so sure if GFCC would bother. It might be a case of "What you see is what you're gonna get"? We shall see.

or search ebay for "GFCC 1:43 1959 Pontiac Bonneville" The seller is Tongbotoys, who I assume is also the manufacturer.
I did a few things with the earlier version with the generic wheels. I experimented with adding spinners to the wheels on some. All in all these were great inexpensive diecasts to modifiy.

Google UK must be sending me different results from you! All eBay posts that came up were offering the convertible only. Your underlined link gave a 404 Page Not Found error message. I will keep looking.
