This is the text of a recent press release:
"Promod Ltd. has announced a new range of white metal 1 /43 kits, under the Somerville - Lansdowne brand.
They have come to an agreement with Brooklin Models, producers of the Lansdowne range of British hand built model cars, to market some of the famous Lansdowne models in kit form, to complement their own current Somerville kit range.
Many of the original Lansdownes will be included, and the initial range will comprise twelve models, to be released in groups of four. These first twelve will be the Austin-Healey Sprite Mk 1, Austin A 110, Austin Gipsy, Bedford PC van, Ford Zephyr Mk 2, Ford Zodiac Mk 4, Humber Sceptre Mk 2, Humber Hawk Estate Car, M.G. “Y” Saloon, Sunbeam Alpine Series 3, Triumph Mayflower, and Vauxhall Ventora Mk 2.
The kits will be sold under the Somerville - Lansdowne brand, and will be available from Promod Ltd and from Brooklin Models
It is planned for the first of the kits to be released within the next month or two.
