@mikedetorrice Hi Mike Wonderful photos and the Kinsmart 1967 Chevrolet Impala looks truly fabulous. Just looked on ebay and seen some for £6 plus £12 postage! Plus it has opening front doors - amazing!

A Chevrolet more luxurious than a Buick?
Happens all the time. The Caprice was the top-of-the-line Chevrolet, while the LeSabre was the bottom of the barrel full-size Buick. Skylarks cost less but they were smaller.
Even today, one can purchase a stripped down base Cadillac XT-4, yet walk to the Ford dealership an order a fully loaded Escape ST-Line Platinum Elite. That Escape will be much more impressive than the Caddy.
Thanks, Chris ! It is a good-looking automobile, both real and the scale model and it has the opening doors, too. Plus, the low price is a real bargain.

Yes, but I don't think that was always the case. Back in the 40s and early to mid-50s, even the top-trim Chevy/Ford/Plymouth didn't out-luxury the lower trim Buick/Lincoln/Chrysler.

Well, that's exactly right but as you know, nothing lasts forever...consumer tastes change, and marketing must keep pace. Eighty years from now owners will be debating their de-spooler RX times vs. stationary influxer rates. Bp-7s & Bpd-2s can integrate, theoretically, but host-pod sequencing will be compromised.
@chris Hmmmm.....I basically agree but I'm not so sure about the host pod sequencing being compromised.
@jack-dodds, I think you may be right. In order for the host pod sequencing to be compromised, the geospatial regulator would have to be disabled.

@jkuvakas Exactly! You said a mouthful there JK; right on the money again! Snipping the yellow wire is the best way to achieve this....as you well know.
- You guys are funny..... but eighty years ago, right after WW II, researchers, scientists, Ph.Ds, and engineers were discussing vehicle blue-tooth compatible options for touch-screen navigation & integrated infotainment displays vs. direct USB plug-ins and hard-wired accessories.
Jokers ridiculed them too.
LoL
