After the mid 70's Oil Crisis, the Swiss automaker Peter Monteverdi changed his political production as his Italian style GT cars with big V8 Chrysler engines were not interesting attending at petrol prices. So he improved to new production lines, the 4x4 SUV and a luxury sedan called Sierra, that derived also in a Cabriolet and a Station Wagon. Around 22 Sierra were produced, 15 in 4 doors sedan forms, 5 SW and 2 Cabriolets. Monteverdi Sierra were based in 1977-1978 Dodge Aspen, Diplomat and Plymouth Volare bodies. Monteverdi swapped in a 5.2 Chrysler V8. Front lights were from the Fiat 125. back lights from the Renault 12. Steering wheel, seats and other interior features were from BMW. Body design was made by Fissore of Torino. I hope you like so odd car. The model is made by Autocult under their Avenue 43 line...
