I've just done 2 posts, one in Forum 43 and one in the Handicrafts forum. Both gave an error message but I just exited the site and went straight back in and the posts were there. The error message may create a moment of panic, but the post is still getting though, as they say.
Interestingly, I went back into this reply to correct a typo, and the edit saved without any problem.

THANKS John! Here is something else I've found that seems to work. When I get the "error" page, I just go up to URL line, go all the way to the "left" and hit the "left pointing arrow". This takes me immediately back to the page I was on and my post is there.

@jkuvakas I just made two posts (9/2 at 9:10 pm ET) on my laptop without any error messages.
