Although I was unable to attend the Countryside shows last weekend, I had reserved one of the 50 models of the 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS 409 convertible in metallic turquoise. I gotta say I'm glad I did not buy one of the earlier versions because something about the wheels looked off to me. This version, with rally wheels, antennae, SS decals, and other details (including a little beer cooler to take to a picnic on a nice top down day) fills the bill.

Very, very nice, Harv. You gotta love these convertibles with the top up/top down feature. This one by Jeff Lane is beautifully done. Thanks for posting these great pictures. I’m glad the picnic basket is not glued to the seat. Nice to have for picnics but can be left at home as well.

A beautiful model-perfect color. I can't wait for mine to arrive.

This one is a beauty.  The darker carpets really stand out and provide contrast.

I love the hardtop and the 1967 Wildcats (champagne 4door and blue 2door), but agree the wheels aren't ideal. I keep thinking about switching them to talk wheels, but haven't gotten around to it.
